Introduction
Welcome to the website of the Tourist farm with accommodations Megušar. We are located in Stara Loka, one of the oldest villages in Slovenia, first mentioned in 973. Stara Loka is located on the left bank of Selška Sora and is directly connected to the city of Škofja Loka. Škofja Loka and Stara Loka alone offer plenty of tourist and sports possibilities, and at the same time, due to their favourable location and good traffic connections excellent starting points for exploring Slovenia.
The Megušar farm or Pr’ Prtiž, as locals call it, also has a long history. It lies at an altitude of 355 m. In addition to livestock and agriculture our important activity is growing berries in the plantation of American blueberries and raspberries, and fruit processing, especially pressing juices – apple juice.
As a part of the tourist activity we offer you nicely furnished rooms and suites, which will surely, with all their modern comfort, offer you a good and pleasant rest, and you will gain strength for new experience with a self-service breakfast, of course with mostly home-cooked dishes, together with a nice cup of excellent coffee.

You will be also able to relax in the wellness and spa centre, with pleasant and healing light of salt lamps, where you can choose from Finnish sauna, infrared chairs and whirlpool (Jacuzzi), which takes up to 5 people. You will be able to get warm in cold nights by a fireplace, and in warm nights chat on the covered terrace.
